This week I am home in Seattle, spending time with friends and family and generally enacting the whims of my one-year-old niece. She occasionally deigns suffer my company.

Also, today marks my third wedding anniversary! Dave and I celebrated (so far) by walking around downtown Seattle with my sister/niece, and then buying a large coconut cream pie at the Dahlia Bakery and promptly dispatching half of it. We lacked the tools to cut it into slices, so we just dove in like miscreants. I think I swallowed a plastic fork tine.

You know, business as usual.

Hopefully (?) by next week I’ll be in Madison with renewed scanner access, but if not I apologize profusely in advance, and promise to be back up & running with new comics shortly thereafter.
